A Massive Pumpkin Patch Just Arrived At The Dallas Arboretum For Fall!

Fall is here! That means we can get a jump on all our favorite fall activities – hot cocoa, s’mores, and PUMPKIN PATCHES! If you’ve been looking for the perfect pumpkin display to take your family to, we have good news. You will be rushing to attend  Autumn At The Arboretum, a Charlie Brown themed pumpkin patch and display at the Dallas Arboretum!

Pumpkin patches are a everyone’s favorite activity once Dallas starts to cool down a bit, but Autumn At The Arboretum takes it one step further than your basic pumpkin patch. You’ll get to experience 66 acres of Fall decor as you walk through the Dallas Arboretum! This is everything you need to know about Autumn At The Arboretum:

Over 90,000 pumpkins will be expertly set up across the grounds of the Dallas Arboretum. This amazing garden will amaze you year round, and the fall season is no exception. Martha Stewart’s Living Magazine called the festival “One of the best fall festivals to visit this Fall!” Visitors will be constantly amazed by what they see, whether its the pumpkins that line the pathways of the arboretum, or the breath taking central pumpkin patch!

The central patch’s theme this year is “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!”

You’ll see Charlie Brown staples like Snoopy himself on a pumpkin house, a large piano filled with greenery, and all your favorite Peanuts characters! 

Throughout the festival, you get amazing views photo ops with pumpkin displays, kid’s mazes, piles and piles of multi-colored pumpkins, among so much more! There’s also plenty of room for little ones to run around and blow some steam off. 

When Will Autumn In The Arboretum Open?

Autumn In The Arboretum opens its to the public starting September 21st, and will be at the Arboretum through October 31st. Thousands of visitors make it out to the festival every year, and it is recognized nationwide for it’s beauty. The Dallas Arboretum opens for members from 9am-5pm, and for the public from 10am-5pm.

The Perfect Family Friendly Fall Activity

The Arboretum caters to families and little ones! Plan a whole day of hanging out with Charlie Brown, followed by playing in the Children’s Garden, snacking at a picnic, and making some fun fall memories!

You’ll also be happy to hear that the Dallas Arboretum is stroller and wheelchair friendly! You may want to leave your stroller parked just outside the patch, however, as it is covered in a thick layer of wood chips.

How Much Does Visiting The Dallas Arboretum Cost?

Adult tickets are $15. Anyone under 13 years old is $10, and seniors are $12.

Parking is $15, and entry to the Children’s Garden is an additional $3.

Throughout the property will be various pumpkins decorating the walkways. Head right after entering the main gate, and you’ll reach the Great Pumpkin Patch. You can’t miss it!
