This park honors Mr. George Webb who was the local pharmacist in McKinney for decades.
Bring the family, come in costume, and have a blast with us! Kids can gather candy while they play fun carnival games, then bounce off any leftover energy in the bounce house.
A friendly costume contest is at 11 a.m. Please register your costume when you arrive.
Later in the evening we’ll put on a terrifying haunted house!
The troves of pumpkins and gourds arriving at NorthPark Center every year are a sure sign that fall is here. Visitors of all ages are invited to get into the autumn spirit by exploring NorthPark’s free Pumpkin Patch, on display beginning Monday, September 30 through Thursday, October 31. The Pumpkin Patch sprawls across CenterPark Garden and serves as the perfect backdrop for family photos on a crisp fall afternoon. The vibrant 1.4-acre garden will feature pumpkins of all shapes and sizes.
Leaves are turning and the A.W. Perry Homestead Museum (1509 N. Perry Road) is ready to usher in some FREE fall fun with games, competition, and of course pumpkins at the annual Perry Pumpkin Patch. Feel free to wear a costume. Everyone is invited.
Folks can enjoy some old-fashioned games, photo opportunities, and even pick out their very own pumpkin. Pumpkins are available for those who donate canned or boxed goods. Limit one per person.
Compete in the pie-baking contest for a chance to take home the trophy. To compete in the pie-bake contest visit cityofcarrollton.com/museum and click the Pie button. One Pie per person and a max of 25 registrants. Pies must arrive by 12:45pm on day of event. Coolers are recommended for transportation of pies that need to be refrigerated. An insulated carrier bag is recommended to keep pies warm. Refrigerators, ovens, and on-site electrical outlets will not be available.
Not a baker, but love pie? Compete in the pie-eating contest. Pie-eating contestants register day of event and must be 12 or older. Registrants will need to sign a waiver or parent sign the waiver.

Crazy Fossil Dig at the Mineral Wells Fossil Park.
The Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 9th Annual Crazy Fossil Dig Event will be held October 19, 2019 from 11am to 2pm. National Earth Science week is October 13-19, and we are proud to be a part of this national event by holding a celebration of our own.
During the Crazy Dig there will be tons of fun for visitors! On hand will be special guests from the Dallas Paleontological Society to assist with fossil identification
There will also be displays and hands-on activities for visitors, and guided tours and history lessons about the park. With free admission, this is hardly an opportunity to pass up!
