So, I’m going to be completely honest with you…something similar happened to me when my kids were very young. One afternoon, my 5 year old son came running in the house excited about the new “piggies” living under the deck. Being used to his wild tales, I ignored his exclamations. It wasn’t until I peeked out the kitchen window and saw him sticking his fingers between the wooden boards that I decided I better investigate these “piggies.”
Those piggies?
More like a momma possum and her six babies.

These Parents Regret Not Believing Their Daughter…
I had forgotten all about this story until Chrissy Tiegen lost the family hamster.
She posted about the mishap on Twitter and that’s when I discovered the poor parents who didn’t believe their daughter when she said there was a “creature” living in her bedroom.

Normally I would have some serious questions for this mother, except…well, our family recently moved back to the city from living on a farm in Wise County and my youngest son brought me a neighborhood possum the other night!!!
