A dozen giant glowing seesaws are coming to Dallas, TX April 13-May 6. This interactive art installation from Montreal called Impulse, is a super fun way to get people out and enjoying the arts with a hands-on experience.
Impulse is an art installation of 12 seesaws, wired with LED lights, and speakers. You’re going to love riding these seesaws as each one gets brighter and emits sound when people climb on. Grab all your besties, because by playing on the seesaws everyone can create dynamic light and sound waves. Yes, this art installation in the Dallas Arts District is meant for people of all ages to enjoy!
Impulse Seesaws – Dallas Arts District
Even adults need to relax and play! What a better way to do this than by climbing aboard traveling magical seesaws in Dallas? Impulse debuted in 2015-2016 at the Place des Festivals, an outdoor plaza in Montreal’s Cultural District. The goal is to encourage people to visit the arts district when events are not taking place.
Location and Hours
These giant, glowing seesaws are in two locations:
- April 13-22: Sammons Park at 2403 Flora St., in partnership with AT&T Performing Arts Center in the Dallas Arts District
- April 25-May 6: Main Street Garden at 1902 Main St.
Hours: Open from 8 am-11 pm daily
