If a lemonade stand is legal where you live may be a question you’re asking, and thanks to a new law signed in Texas kids can now enjoy the fruits of their labor without the fear of getting shut down.
Gov. Greg Abbott posted a video Monday on Twitter of him signing a law that allows kids under 18 to run lemonade stands without a permit. The law goes into effect September 1, 2019, but I can’t imagine anyone is going to be going after kids before then.

It’s now legal for kids to sell lemonade at stands.
