The Navy’s Blue Angels Operation America Strong Over flyover is expected to begin around 11 am. Here is the released flight path:
The Blue Angels flyover to honor healthcare heroes, first responders, and essential workers is expected to last about 35 minutes.
The Blue Angels have been putting on air shows throughout the United States. Over the past weekend, the jets flew over Washington DC, Baltimore, and Atlanta, after making a trip to New York City last week.
These flyovers across the country will come at not additional cost to taxpayers, the DOD said, because they are using the flights to help pilots meet critical training requirements and flight hours.

Additionally, some flyovers, including the one in Dallas, will only feature the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds, in order to allow the Department of Defense to reach as many Americans as possible.
Representative Kay Granger was the first to make the announcement about the North Texas’ own flyover.
“I’m proud to partner with the Navy to bring the Blue Angels to Fort Worth, showcasing our community’s deep appreciation to the brave doctors, nurses, first responders, and essential workers on the frontlines of our nation’s fight against the coronavirus,” Granger said. “These are unexpected, unprecedented times, but I know our community and country will emerge stronger than before. I’m proud to bring this display of national unity and support for those keeping our communities safe to Texas 12.”
