2. Cane Rosso
Cane Rosso was born when owner, Jay Jerrier, visited Italy in 1995 for his honeymoon. A former corporate exec, he had an epiphany upon tasting his first true Italian pizza and knew that he had found something special. Wanting to replicate the experience that he had in Italy, when Jerrier eventually made his way to Dallas, Texas where he had a wood-burning oven built and trained with Master Pizzaiolos.
Owner, Jerrier, officially formed a dog rescue group in 2014, Cane Rosso Rescue, in order to fuel his passion to do all that is necessary to save the lives of abandoned dogs.
3. Jack Carter Dog Park – Plano
This super cool dog park is a two acre area along Bluebonnet Trail in central Plano. Jack Carter Dog Park features a two dog areas based on pup size (large and small dogs) with shade shelters, picnic tables, benches. water stations for humans and dogs, waste pickup/disposal stations and a dog rinse station near the parking lot. All the dogs were friendly and got along, park is a great size and plenty of water and big tubs were available for them to cool off.
