Whether love is in the air or far, far behind you this Valentine’s Day – look no further than the Fort Worth Zoo for the perfect (and meaningful) gift. And since love is in the air…might as well celebrate this Valentine’s Day with a skunk. Why? Because love stinks.
You Can Eat Dinner with a Kangaroo and Lemur at this restaurant near Valley View TX.
And if a skunk isn’t really your thing…you can opt for a penguin or pair of penguins instead.
What’s really cool about this animal “adoption” is that proceeds go to the care and feeding of the Fort Worth Zoo’s animals. Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the Fort Worth Zoo’s Valentine’s Adoption:

About Fort Worth Zoo’s Valentine’s Adoption
Animal adoption is sure to bring joy to that special someone while supporting the quality care and conservation efforts the Fort Worth Zoo values so much.
And since adopting an actual, real live skunk would not exactly be a pleasant experience the Zoo is offering adorable plush animals for adoption instead.
What’s really cool about this animal adoption is that proceeds are going back to support the care and feeding of the Fort Worth Zoo’s animals.
How to Adopt An Animal for Valentine’s at the Fort Worth Zoo
New this year – the Love Stinks adoption. A perfect gift for the friend who could use a V-day pick-me-up or a unique way to show your love to the “little stinker” in your life.
You can adopt one of these plush animals for as little as $40, and you’ll get a stuffed animal, adoption certificate, photos and fact sheet about the animal.
Choose from a skunk, black-footed penguin, Rockhopper penguin or get two penguins because…you know….love birds.
Order by noon on Feb. 10 to ensure delivery by Feb. 14.
As an added perk, everyone who buys a GALentine’s or Valentine’s ticket will be entered to win a one-of-a-kind painting from Kristen Soble, whose artisitic talents can be seen throughout the new African Savanna.
Which brings me to my next point…
