They are also offering a new incentive to called “Concert Cash” that increases the value of what you paid for your ticket. Live Nation, Ticketmaster Refunding Tickets On Canceled Shows, Events
Live Nation, Ticketmaster are now refunding tickets to canceled shows and events, and ticket holders should expect an email on May 1 with further details.
Ticket holders will also be able to get a refund if their concert or event has been postponed if they request it within a certain 30-day time period.
How can I get a refund for my canceled concert from Live Nation / Ticketmaster?
Live Nation says that you will have to request a refund, even if it was canceled. Refunds will be in full, but you should be aware of a brand new program called Rock When You’re Ready.
How can I get a refund for my postponed concert from Live Nation / Ticketmaster?
According to Live Nation’s website, they will automatically refund your order amount (except UPS fees) to the method of payment used for purchase.
Due to the unprecedented volume of cancellations, you should expect to receive your refund in as soon as 30 days.
You will also have the opportunity to use the Rock When Your Ready option for “concert cash.”
If you want to attend the rescheduled show, then just keep your ticket and use it for the new date. Reportedly, Live Nation Entertainment will give you $15 or $20 in Live Nation Concert Cash for every ticket used, depending on the venue.
How Does Live Nation’s Rock When You’re Ready Program Work?
If you still plan on purchasing a concert or event ticket in the future from Live Nation, Ticketmaster, then you should know about a brand new program called Rock When You’re Ready.
The Rock When You’re Ready program works by giving you up to 150 percent of the ticket value in “concert cash” once bans on mass gatherings are lifted.
So, if you spent $200 on tickets, you will get a $300 ticket in credit to use towards a future concert or event.
If you’d like to donate your ticket you can do that through Live Nation’s Hero Nation program.
How Do I Get A Refund On My Live Nation Concert Ticket?
You can get a ticket refund from Live Nation starting May 1. The Rock When You’re Ready and Hero Nation programs will also become available May 1.
Once May 1 hits, patron will have just 30 days following cancellation to decide what they want to do.
